Being in touch with reality, staying grounded, and not losing sight of our roots continue to be major challenges facing the business community. Through multiple avenues of cross-industry cooperation with universities, we utilize hands-on co-creation methods with students and technical experts to encourage outside-the-box thinking, helping to maintain a passionate corporate culture atmosphere.
We have cooperated with Tsinghua University to help both the world of academia and the corporate world break out of our respective molds. With the students at the Institute of Service Science, we explored the potential and possibility of VTM (Virtual Teller Machine). By looking at VTM from different viewpoints, such as the financial industry, the service industry, and industrial technology, we were able to conduct productive field surveys, hands-on co-creation, and even put together a 2.5D conceptual presentation of materialized ideas. Through this cooperation, we worked together to produce creative and innovative solutions, and reinforced the value of cross-industry exchange.
In an era of constant rapid technological growth, the combination of creativity and idealism has become a popular trend. Hackathons continue to be incubators of innovation and technology. Pershing held two consecutive hackathons in 2017 and 2018 to cultivate young technological talent. It is our responsibility and honor to provide incentives to encourage young students to be creative and adventurous.

Participating in the Taipei Standard Chartered Charity Marathon, Pershing recruited 10 runners to participate in the 13 km challenge group, responding to the theme of the conference: “Be Fearless.” This spirit of fearlessness helps to drive our courageous dreams as we continue to take part in charitable activities and events.

To cultivate budding young digital potential, Pershing provides diversified and rich internship opportunities for students to experience a professional environment before entering the workplace. Interns learn about project development, the IT industry environment, and hands-on experience. Currently, we are partnered with Yuan Ze University, Pingtung University, Ming Chuan University and United University.
Pershing held a three-day Python creation and enlightenment camp during the summer of 2019. It provided professional programming language experience courses for employees’ children, and cultivated the children’s hands-on spirit, problem-solving skills, programming logic and scientific literacy. This camp was a fantastic way to plant the seeds for potential future IT dreamers and industry leaders!
